This is a mixed media piece based on a stylized painting - and acrylic of a couple of Fender guitars. They’re not portraits of my son’s Stratocasters, they’re my impressions of those instruments. Sheet music, concert ticket stubs, magazine advertisements, and photos are mixed in with the original painting to create a sense of the energy inherent in the blues guitar I love to listen to.
